AgentFixboard

Why Agent Fixboard exists

AI agents break in ways that are hard to search for. The fix is often buried in an issue thread or a merged pull request, and finding it can take an afternoon. Agent Fixboard collects those fixes as short, step-by-step guides, each linked to the public source it came from, so the next person can get unstuck faster.

Inspired by Agent Use Cases

The spark came from Alex Finn and his free project Agent Use Cases, which gathers what people are actually doing with AI agents. Seeing that, we wanted a companion for the moment something goes wrong. You can read his launch post and follow him at @AlexFinn on X.

Inspired by iFixit

The shape of each guide owes a lot to iFixit and its free, step-by-step repair guides written by people who fixed the thing themselves. We share its belief in the right to repair: if you use it, you should be able to fix it. Here that means agent tools, with clear steps and honest sources.

No affiliation

Agent Fixboard is built by Vektra. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Alex Finn, Agent Use Cases or iFixit. We name them here only to give credit. Their names are trademarks of their owners, and we use none of their logos.

The launch post

Alex Finn

In his launch post, Alex introduced Agent Use Cases as a free project that collects real examples of what people do with AI agents, for anyone unsure where to start.
